What is the Sky Box Sets Bundle?

One of Sky's more loaded TV packages, the Sky Box Sets Bundle comes packed with a huge amount of on-demand content and premium HD channels.

Depending on your current TV package, the Sky Box Sets Bundle can start from just £6 a month for existing Sky TV customers but is fixed at £38 a month for new Sky TV customers. Although this potentially does make it one of Sky's more expensive TV packages, the amount of premium and HD content on offer, (not to mention the number of great extras) easily justfies the price.

What's Included with Sky Box Sets?

The biggest bonus you'll receive from signing up to the Sky Box Sets Bundle is access to over 350 different TV box sets.

Featuring everything from those big critically acclaimed US dramas like The Wire and Mad Men that you'd always meant to get around to watching, to current massive favourite The Walking Dead and homegrown shows like the Inbetweeners and reality TV smash Geordie Shore, there will always be something to keep you entertained.

Also included free in the package are all of Sky's regular TV channels (Sky Cinema and Sky Sports unfortunately must be purchased separately) with 30 of these being in stunning HD, catch-up TV services like BBC iPlayer and 4oD, streaming service Sky Go, and a 1TB Sky Q box.

Sky TV

There's a fantastic variety of Sky TV channels to enjoy if you ever get bored of binging box sets.

Many of Sky's most popular channels like Sky Atlantic, Fox, Film 4, Disney Channel and MTV as well as those that cater to a more specialised interest like History, National Geographic, Good Food and Animal Planet are all available in HD, meaning that whatever your viewing preference may be you can be sure that'll it look the best it possibly can.

Sky Go

Sky's own streaming service is available either via an app, which is compatible with both iOS and Android, or a downloadable player if you're watching on a laptop or a desktop and enables you to watch live TV and on-demand content from Sky.

You're only able to use the service on two devices and aren't able to download programs for offline viewing. But upgrading to Sky Go Extra for a fee will enable you to do this as well as to watch Sky Go, again via an app, on a games console.

The Sky Q Box

Now issued in every Sky package as the standard TV box, Sky Q is Sky's latest advancement in set-top box technology.

The free box that comes with this package doesn't do everything that a full Sky Q deal can do. It isn't able to offer Fluid Viewing where you can pause TV in one room and resume watching in another or the ability to download and watch recordings on a tablet or smartphone via the Sky Q app.

But, it's still quite an impressive piece of technology allowing you to record up to three shows whilst watching a fourth live and to store up to 500 hours of recorded TV. If you've got Sky Broadband, the Sky Q box is also able to handily act as a hotspot in order to boost the connection.

The Sky Kids App

Only available for download on a tablet (both iOS and Android) this fun app works as a child-friendly streaming service featuring over 4,500 episodes of popular children's TV shows. These range from those aimed at very young children, like Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol and Octonauts to those like Adventure Time, Sam and Cat and Scooby-Doo that older children are sure to love.

Unlike Sky Go, with Sky Kids you're able to download a show for offline viewing which is great for keeping children entertained on a long journey!

With the parental controls there's no need to worry about children receiving too much screen time. You're able to limit them to age appropriate content and activate bed time mode to put a timer on the app so that it falls asleep.
